I’d love to provide a full rundown of Flushdance, by my notes got soaked from all the water splaying off the guy who dunked his curly locks in a toilet and flung his head around for the title piece here. Sounds gross, but it’s actually really funny, and hello – it’s a stage commode. But who needs notes? This show is totally memorable. Brian Sanders delivers bawdy striking sight-gag-laden dance performed by an attractive, energetic and athletic cast. Most bits are performed to the songs from the movie Flashdance and the one done to “Maniac” alone is worth the price of admission.
