JUNK, founded by the renowned choreographer Brian Sanders in 1992, the Philadelphia–based critically acclaimed company catapulted into the mainstream from a start in the Philadelphia FringeArts Festival. Sanders’ signature style of creating inventive, off-the-wall choreography with found objects and other discarded debris gave way to the troupe’s name, JUNK.
Now offering a regular season that includes a run during the Philadelphia FringeArts Festival, the unique winter escape party SNOWBALL, a spring production featuring original material and a review of JUNK’s greatest pieces from as well as national touring and special events throughout the region. Recent accolades includes advancing to the semi-finals on the second season of TruTV’ spectacle-filled reality competition “Fake Off” and a performance recently featured for MAC Cosmetics in Dubai UAE.
